Latex Rubber Catsuit Suit
Latex Catsuit for a Fetish Party or Fashion Shoot
Fetish parties and fashion shows are no longer the only place you might see men or women clad in a slinky latex catsuit. The recent explosion in popularity of the rubber like material is down in part to the chart topping music phenoms Lady Gaga, red head pop star Rihanna and Katy Perry. The once shunned wet look styling has now gone mainstream and it doesn't look like stopping any time soon. Could this be attributed to the wet look legging craze that took the fashion industry by storm? It's a distinct possibility, though it is Michelle Pfeiffer that will take the most acclaim for her role in Tim Burtons Batman Returns as femme fatale Catwoman.
Owning your own latex catsuit
When it comes to owning your own latex catsuit a number of things need to be considered. For the best possible fit and finished look it is advised that you have it custom made to specific body measurements. By supplying a full range of measurements the catsuit maker can produce a much better fitting finished article and reduces the risk of having to return or exchange it. Applying a reasonable amount of talcum powder before you step into your gorgeous outfits lowers the risk of ripping the material and helps to absorb some of the moisture inside the suit whilst it is being worn. Most importantly, latex has a naturally dull finish so a spray will need to be applied to obtain the shiny appearance that we are accustomed to.
Buying a latex catsuit
A host of latex retailers are present on the internet offering a selection of designer outfits, though for the best latex catsuit for your money don't settle for a cheap, low cost knock off. A huge gulf in quality exists between items produced in the UK compared to China for example. Low quality garments are sesceptible to corrosion and falling apart if they are not cared for properly, which results in a much shorter product life than a well built piece. The thickness of the material and the difficulty of the design will both contribute in increasing the total price. Equally, optional extras like gloves and feet can influence how much you could be charged.
