Scout Patches Are An Integral Part of Scouting
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts in the United States share the noble ideals of their counterpart organizations worldwide, including character development, personal fitness and citizenship training. Scouting organizations issue scout patches to recognize achievements. From Eagle Scout to the youngest Cub Scout, Girl Scout to Brownie, the patches are cherished keepsakes of accomplishment.
Merit badges and embroidered Scout patches are symbols that the boy or girl who earned them has successfully reached a distinctive personal goal. Scout patches are something that any Scout can proudly display to show their accomplishments.
Scout patches have existed since the founding of the Boy Scouts of America in 1910.
