Frequently Asked Questions...
Where can I get big poster color copies made?
I made a collage that is 3 by 6 feet and i want to have color copies made, as far as I know there aren't any printing places with big enough scanners, where can I go to get this done?
Answer:
If you are willing to do the work, you can scan it in in pieces bit by bit and piece it together after wards again in a program like photoshop. regard it as a collage of a collage.
Before you start this, be aware that each printout at original size will cost you at least $100 (that's if you get a really good price). Ask around how much it actually is going to cost you. In addition the cheapest way is an ink-jet printer. If they don't have archival ink it's not going to keep it's colors for too long, even if you put UV protectant on it.
If you are not happy to spend so much money, on something which may not last, you may decide it is not worth even starting this project.
